9 Water Parks You’ll Want To Visit This Summer

Now that summer is in full swing, the best thing to do to cool off on those hot days is to head to the nearest water park. So, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best in the Phoenix area. As always, you’ll want to be sure to head on over to their website to check their rules and regulations before you head on out. And in some cases, you’ll want to reserve your spot while you’re there too.

1) Oasis Water Park                              

When you visit, be sure to check out the Zuni River, where you can go inner tubing with the effects of an actual river.

2) Hamilton Aquatic Center

This shared-use facility located on the Hamilton High School campus is an eight-lane competition pool. But also features a zero-depth play pool and so much more. There are limited spots, so you’ll want to reserve a time slot before heading on over.

3) Desert Oasis Aquatic Center

When visiting Desert Oasis Aquatic Center, you’ll have access to a 25-yard, 8-lane pool with a zero-depth area with a kiddie slide and so much more. There’s even a 112-foot figure-eight water slide that you’ll definitely want to try.

4) The Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch

Here you’ll find so many great things, from 10 swimming pools to a 30’, 3-story high-speed waterslide. All for you to enjoy while you relax all day. Be sure to reserve your cabana on their site.

5) Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

There is so much to do when you’re visiting Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Whether you want to relax on the lazy rivers or go on some family rides, you’ll find it here.

6) Kiwanis Wave Pool

Instead of spending the day out in the heat, try this indoor pool. Or even when it gets a bit cooler during the winter months. There is a 200 people capacity for each session, so plan accordingly.

7) Salt River Tubing

If you’re looking for a fun, leisurely afternoon on the water, then this is the one for you. Spend the day floating down the river with your friends as well as enjoying the beautiful day. You’ll want to head over to the website to go over rules and regulations before you head on out.

8) Great Wolf Lodge

If you’re looking for an amazing indoor adventure, then this is the one for you. During your visit, you’ll want to go on one of the many slides or rides. Above all be sure to check out the Slap Tail Pond wave pool.
